Are Elf Primers Good

E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer ($8) is a new solid facial primer being hauled as Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer which really did not have me excited. Why? Because I am one of the few people that really didn't like Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer.

I know the excitement though contemplating Tatcha's variant is $52 and E.L.F's is $8 (plus a smidge larger too by the way). I mean if you love Tatcha's formula why wouldn't you want an $8 variation to spare yourself some significant money to not mention in the event that you simply can't afford $52 bucks or can't see yourself spending that much on a primer why wouldn't you want a budget option?

Makeup dupes are fairly common from the beauty world and E.L.F.'s been on point producing cheaper version of their latest and latest cosmetics releases. Though it is brands and a controversial topic are snapping back at brands that aren't currently creating dupes anymore but out and out copies of products.

Packaging is the fundamental E.L.F. appearance with the dark cap and also the crystal clear foundation. It is nothing fancy just like Tatcha's version that's for certain and it doesn't include a spatula or an option to scoop the primer out at which as Tatcha's does. The lack of a spatula isn't an issue as I have plenty of them laying around but I think it would have been nice to include one.

Like I stated the packaging of Tatcha is far fancier and it's hell of a larger. Visually E.L.F.'s packaging is a lot smaller and Tatcher's provides the illusion of containing much more primer for this reason.

Packaging aside one of the most important factor are the ingredients and how they compare. I'm not an authority in components but both products do have a lot of the very same components but in sequence of appearance like Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Water, Dimethicone, Squalne, and Titanium Dioxide just to name a few. I discovered the main difference between the two is Tatcha's formula contains Hydrolyzed Silk and Silk Powder that's something missing in E.L.F.'s variant. Also, Tatcha's version contains a lovely aroma and E.L.F.'s doesn't. elf cosmetics The deficiency of odor will be a triumph for users but those who enjoy it might be missed by the odor of Tatcha.

E.L.F.'s formulation is nearly identical in functionality to Tatcha's. The texture is just as creamy, absorbs easily, and leaves behind a canvas for makeup. I felt like it put into a soft finish and I had no difficulties using it pilling and it did blur the pores on my nose. I actually liked the texture than the formulation of Tatcha since it was slick in my skin. My foundation applied together with it.
